Questions, answered.
Straightforward answers to the most common questions about VendCura.
What is VendCura?+
VendCura is a RAMS risk-reduction tool. You upload an existing RAMS submission, and VendCura returns a clear review output: a summary, risks found, mobilisation-blocking issues, a risk score, and practical recommendations — plus a downloadable TXT report.
What problem does it solve?+
RAMS reviews are often rushed and inconsistent. VendCura standardises the first pass so teams can move faster, reduce resubmissions, and focus attention where risk is highest. Fewer rejected submissions → fewer resubmissions → faster mobilisation and less admin cost.
Do you create RAMS documents or templates?+
No. VendCura doesn’t generate RAMS templates or write RAMS for you. It reviews the RAMS you already have and produces an output that helps you improve it and make acceptance decisions faster.
What do I receive after an analysis?+
You receive a structured output and a downloadable TXT report that includes: an executive summary, risks found, mobilisation-blocking issues, a risk score/band, and clear recommendations on what to strengthen or add.
What is a “mobilisation-blocking” issue?+
A mobilisation blocker is something likely to delay acceptance or prevent work starting on time — typically because the submission is missing key information, is unclear, or doesn’t describe controls strongly enough. VendCura flags these so they’re fixed before they cause delays.
What is the risk score based on?+
The score reflects the strength and completeness of controls described in the submission. It’s designed as decision support — helping reviewers prioritise what needs attention first — not as a legal declaration of compliance.
What file types can I upload?+
Most teams upload PDF or DOCX. If you have TXT, that works too. If a PDF is scanned or low-quality, it may take extra processing.
Why do scanned PDFs count as 2 analyses?+
Scanned or low-quality PDFs require additional processing to read reliably. Counting them as two analyses keeps pricing fair and helps maintain consistent output quality.
Can I share the TXT report with subcontractors or vendors?+
Yes. The TXT report is designed to be shared. It’s clear, structured, and written so vendors can act on it without guesswork.
Is VendCura a replacement for a competent reviewer?+
No. VendCura strengthens the first pass and helps you catch issues faster, but it doesn’t replace competent review — especially for higher-risk work. Final responsibility remains with the duty holder/reviewer.
Do you guarantee compliance or acceptance?+
No. VendCura helps reduce risk and rework by highlighting gaps and recommending improvements, but it cannot guarantee legal compliance or that a third party will accept a submission.
Is there one login per company?+
Yes — at launch, plans include one login per company to keep setup simple. If you need multi-user access later, it can be added as VendCura evolves.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel?+
Yes. You can change plans as your monthly volume changes, and you can cancel month-to-month.
How quickly will I get results?+
Most results are returned shortly after upload. Timing depends on document size and quality (scanned files take longer).
How should teams use VendCura day-to-day?+
Use it as a consistent screening step: run vendor RAMS through VendCura, act on the mobilisation blockers first, then address the recommendations. This keeps reviews repeatable and reduces back-and-forth.
